About This Course

The entire NZ Diploma in Christian Studies (Level 6) is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills and experience that will enable you to grow into your full leadership potential and prepare you for ministry leadership roles.

There are five block courses throughout the year which give you valuable face-to-face teaching time. You will complete two other papers through supported distance learning, plus the internship.

The internship provides an opportunity to put your learning into practice and gain stronger ministry experience.

Students usually complete the internship in their local church, although alternatives will be considered. Internship placements must be approved by the College.

The internship requires a mentoring component to ensure that the learning takes place in a supported, evaluated and safe environment. The mentor must also be approved by the College and will usually be your Pastor or a significant leader.
