About This Course

Study this unique business diploma from within a Christian Internship. While working at a church, or Christian based organisation, you can learn the skills to take your church or organisation to a new level. 

This course involves a combination of online and weekend block courses.

Christian organisations and churches have a myriad of projects that require help to make happen. This is your opportunity to help them grow by undertaking an internship and gaining the NZ Diploma in Business. 

Some examples of projects that you can help your church, or organisation, with through the Diploma are:

  • Setting up a database
  • Creating a marketing plan
  • Plan funding applications and sponsorship for a community event or service
  • Plan for the planting of a new Church
  • Event planning
  • Research new outreach opportunities

Career Opportunities

Office Manager

Office managers organise and supervise the activities of an office including administrative systems and office personnel.

Project Manager

Project managers manage delivery of projects from beginning to end, usually improving or adding to the business. They manage the strategic, financial, operational and technological aspects of projects.

Personal Assistant

Personal assistants provide administrative, secretarial, and general support to senior managers. They may also be responsible for budgets and financial planning.

Applicants are required to have a business qualification at level 5, for example the New Zealand Diploma in Business (Level 5). This requirement may be waived for applicants with a higher level qualification in another discipline. Applicants will be assessed as to their likely ability to succeed in the programme given their existing qualifications, work experience and motivation to enter the programme. * International students will also: o Meet NZQA criteria for existing English proficiency (if applicable) OR o Have IELTS Academic score of 6.0 with no band below 5.5.
