Vision College is delighted to offer 3 Up-and-Coming Leader Scholarships for 2012.  These are our most significant scholarships and are worth 70% of the tuition fees – valued over $3600!

The School of Leadership at Vision College is dedicated to training people for leadership roles in church and ministry. 

If you’re a pastor and have someone in your church with the call of God on their life to be in ministry, our vision is to partner with you in raising up these new leaders and help them develop to their full leadership potential. They need to be nominated by you to be able to apply for these scholarships.

If you’re an individual and feel the call of God is on your life to grow into a church leadership role, our courses will equip you with the biblical, ministry and leadership training to help you be highly effective as you pursue the call of God. These scholarships are for you!

 Applications for these scholarships closed 18th November 2011. Keep a look out in October 2012 for the next round of Up-and-Coming Leader scholarships. 

WHO CAN APPLY?

Applicants must be nominated by their Pastor.

The scholarships are open to domestic students. (That is New Zealand and Australian Citizens, and New Zealand Permanent Residents.)

Applicants must be enrolling to study full-time with Vision College, in either the Diploma in Ministry (Level 5) or the Diploma in Christian Leadership (Level 6). 

The Diploma in Ministry (Level 5) can be studied on-campus in Hamilton, or by internship anywhere in New Zealand, with Hamilton or Christchurch block courses. 

The Diploma in Christian Leadership (Level 6) is studied by internship anywhere in New Zealand, with Hamilton or Christchurch block courses, and requires applicants to already have a Diploma in Ministry.

WHAT DO THE SCHOLARSHIPS COVER?

The Up-and-Coming Leader scholarships cover 70% of the tuition fees. Saving more than $3,600.

Course Related Costs are additional to the tuition fees, and are not covered by the scholarship. Course Related Costs include things like stationary, text books, photocopying, etc. A full list can be download from the course pages.

HOW TO APPLY

Applicants must be nominated by their Pastor for this scholarship. 

Pastors should fill in:

• The Scholarship Nomination Form (in the download below)
• The normal Pastor’s reference required for a School of Leadership application.

Applicants must complete these forms:

• Normal application form for study
• Normal essays and references required for a School of Leadership qualification.   
• Applicant’s Cover Sheet for the Up-and-Coming-Leader Scholarship (in the download below)
• Complete the Scholarship Essay (350 words).

Applications for these scholarships close Friday 18^th November, 5pm.
