Vision College has a limited number of general scholarships available to assist students with tuition fee or course costs. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of worthiness for the purpose they are provided. They are not automatic and usually no more than ten general scholarships are awarded per campus per year.
Scholarships take various forms including, but not limited to, one or more of: a portion of tuition fees, course related costs, text books and materials. Scholarships will usually be limited to a maximum of 30% of the first years’ tuition fees. In selecting scholarship recipients preference is given to full-time students.
| ATC Director’s | The Board of Directors have created a scholarship fund to be awarded to several recipients to a combined maximum of $16,500 per annum. Scholarships will be awarded on individual merit. |
| Pastor’s Children | Children of New Zealand Pastors are eligible to apply for a 30% scholarship towards the tuition fees of the first year of study on any qualification. |
| Church Planter/Worker | People who can demonstrate an agreed goal to plant a church, lead or join the staff of a church are eligible to apply for a 30% scholarship towards the tuition fees of the first year of study. |
| Music | Vision College School of Music is offering a 30% scholarship towards the tuition fees of the first year of study to selected people who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in Music or who are developing towards leadership in a church music team. |
| Maori / Pacific Island | These are 30% of the first year of study and are in response to nationwide initiatives to increase the number of Maori and Pacific Island people participating and achieving in tertiary study. |
| Leadership Potential | Students who have received community recognition for outstanding leadership are eligible to apply for a Leadership Potential scholarship. Evidence of recognition will be required. |
| Information Technology | Vision College School of Information Technology is offering a 30% scholarship towards the tuition fees of the first year of study to selected school leavers who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in www design or computer programming. |
| Financial Hardship | If you are receiving the Unemployment Benefit, Independent Youth Benefit, New Zealand Superannuation, Invalids Benefit, Sickness Benefit, Widows Benefit, Domestic Purposes, or Orphans and Unsupported Childs Benefits, you are eligible to apply for financial hardship scholarship. |
| Academic Achievement | Students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in previous education are eligible to apply for an academic achievement scholarship. Evidence of recognition will be required Scholarships are not guaranteed to be awarded in each category each year. Instead each scholarship application is judged on its own merits. |

Applications close 1st December each year and are awarded before the end of the year.
Study for interest only or academic credit in Hamilton or Christchurch. Papers can even count towards the Diploma in Ministry!
