Vision College is delighted to offer 6 Up-and-Coming Leader Scholarships for 2010. These prestigious scholarships are worth 70% of the tuition fees – valued at approx. $3150!

The School of Leadership at Vision College is dedicated to training people for leadership roles in church and ministry.

If you’re a pastor and have some passionate people in your church who have the call of God on their life to be in ministry, our vision is to partner with you in raising up these new leaders and help them develop to their full leadership potential. They need to be nominated by you to be able to apply for these scholarships.

If you’re an individual and feel the call of God is on your life to grow into a church leadership role, our courses will equip you with the biblical, ministry and leadership training to help you be highly effective as you pursue the call of God. These scholarships are for you!

WHO CAN APPLY?

Applicants must be nominated by their Pastor.

The scholarships are open to domestic students aged 17 – 50 years old as at 1st February 2010. Domestic students are New Zealand and Australian Citizens or New Zealand Permanent Residents.

Applicants must be enrolling to study full-time, starting February 2010, in either Diploma in Ministry or the Diploma in Christian Leadership (internship). The Diploma in Ministry (Level 5) can be studied on-campus in Hamilton, or by internship anywhere in New Zealand, with Hamilton or Christchurch block courses. The Diploma in Christian Leadership (Level 6) is studied by internships anywhere in New Zealand, with Hamilton block courses, and requires applicants to already have a Diploma in Ministry.

WHAT DO THE SCHOLARSHIPS COVER?

The Up-and-Coming Leader scholarships cover 70% of the tuition fees. Saving of approx. $3,150.

The Enrolment Fee and Course Related Costs are additional to the tuition fees, and are not covered by the scholarship. The Enrolment Fee is only payable once enrolment is completed, and is paid with the tuition fees. Course Related Costs include things like stationary, text books, photocopying, etc. We can post you a full list of Course Related Costs – just phone 0800 834 834.

HOW TO APPLY

Applicants must be nominated by their Pastor for this scholarship. Pastors must fill in the Scholarship Nomination Form below and send to Vision College.

Applicants must complete the normal application form for study as well as the normal essays and references required when applying for a School of Leadership qualification. (Click here details). They must also fulfill the conditions of the Up-and-Coming-Leader Scholarship application, which are in the download.

Applications for these scholarships close Thursday 17th December, 5pm.
