Leading Teams
Team work is now recognised as crucial in the development of any organisation, including the church. This course will explore team building and working with volunteers.

Pastoral Ministry
This course will probe deeply the core work and ministry of the Pastoral Leader. Three images will be considered – the Pastor as Preacher, Shepherd and Leader. A brief introduction to ethical and pastoral dilemmas will be included.

Leading and Managing Your Church
Managing Christian organisations is a recognised and challenging skill set. This course has been designed to provide an understanding of management theory and practise essential in the efficient and effective operations of churches and Christian organisations.

Christian Communication (Preaching and Teaching)
For pastors who preach regularly, continual development in the skills of preaching and teaching is essential. This course introduces the student to spiritual and practical techniques of sermon preparation and delivery. Attention is given to definition and discussion of types of sermons as well as structural parts within a sermon. It also explores issues of biblical interpretation and hermeneutical considerations.
