Study Early Childhood Education
Vision College’s Early Childhood Education Youth Guarantee course is for full-time students and combines the National Certificate in Early Childhood Education & Care (Level 3) with personal development topics that will help you succeed. Youth Guarantee students study for FREE and this course will equip you with strong foundations for working with children.
Personal Development Topics That Will Equip You For Life!
The course includes life-changing personal development topics that will equip and inspire you.
Topics include life planning, vision and goal setting, personal leadership, confidence and motivation, study skills, memory techniques, personal presentation, communication skills, problem solving and teamwork, time and stress management, job hunting, interview skills and customer service.
You can expect to uncover your areas of passion and interest and use these areas of self-awareness to map out life and career goals for your future.
Students who complete the National Certificate will be able to apply to study the National Certificate in Early Childhood Education (Level 5). This course is another step along the journey towards becoming an Early Childhood Education teacher.
Who is eligible for Youth Guarantee?
- Students must be NZ Citizens, NZ Permanent Residents, or Australian Citizens.
- Students must be aged 16 or 17 at the time of commencing their study; or aged 15, with an early leaving exemption from school, at the time of commencing their study.
- Students must be prepared to study full-time for 1 year.
