Youth Guarantee

Vision College is proud to be selected for the Youth Guarantee scheme and has 30 places in Hamilton for 2010. Our sister organisation TrainMe also has 20 places in Auckland for 2010.

If you’re 16 or 17 years old and have left school, this could be for you.  Courses are FREE to enrol.

What Youth Guarantee Courses do you offer?

• Administration and Computing (Level 3) 
• Early Childhood Education (Level 3)

Who is eligible for Youth Guarantee?

• Students must be NZ Citizens or Permanent Residents
• Students must be 16-17 years old, and not have achieved NCEA Level 2.
• Students must not turn 18 within three months of starting studying under the Youth Guarantee
• Students must have either completed year 11, or have withdrawn from year 11 in the year prior to entering a Youth Guarantee programme. (Students cannot enter Youth Guarantee part-way through year 11).
• Students can't have studied at Tertiary Institution before (STAR, GATEWAY and Youth Training courses not included)
• Students must be prepared to study full-time for 1 year.
