Music Papers - Year 3

Course Outline: Year Three Papers

These papers make up the final year of the Bachelor of Music (CCM).

Intro

The theology strand continues with a third year theology paper creating graduates with an informed and highly developed biblical understanding of music and ministry. Students will develop their musical knowledge and skills to a highly advanced level and are equipped for a career or ministry of their choosing. They will also develop research and academic skills enabling them to become lifelong learners who continue to grow and achieve.

  • Fundamentals and Analysis of Contemporary Music
  • Western Music History
  • Research Project
  • Music Production and Technology
  • Music Industry and Business Studies
  • Performance Workshop and Choir

Christian Paper

  • Theology 2

Choose one of these streams:

Instrument Stream

  • Instrument Major with Recital
  • Instrument Ensemble

Vocal Stream

  • Vocal Major with Recital
  • Vocal Ensemble

Song Writing Stream

  • Song Writing
  • Composition Portfolio

 

Students must complete a minimum of five core papers, plus Performance Workshop, the Christian paper and both papers in their chosen stream.

Availability of subjects listed may vary.

 

These papers count towards the Bachelor of Music (CCM)
