Rakesh Shukla has been educated in India and the USA. He was awarded a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) degree by the prestigious B.I.T.S, Pilani, India, a Masters Degree in Engineering by the renowned University Of Akron, USA, and a Ph.D in International Business by I.I.T (Delhi), India.  Rakesh also has a Post Graduate Diploma in International Marketing, and a Post Graduate Diploma in U.N and International Understanding. 

Rakesh has introduced and taught international business and trade at a number of management institutes in India, and has been a visiting faculty member for a period of six years at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi. Rakesh has extensive ‘hands on’ international business experience of over 30 years. He has been associated with senior management teams of companies from India, USA, UAE, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and U.K.

For over ten years Rakesh was the Country Manager of Beca International Consultants Ltd., New Zealand, which employs over 2000 staff and is a leading technical consulting organization in the Asia-Pacific region. He was instrumental in initiating the business of Beca in India from ‘zero’ and raising it to run projects costing hundreds of millions of dollars.
